How to keep it classy when the heat is on

How to keep it classy when the heat is on

Here at Fellow Well Met we like to dress to impress, as we know you do too, but sometimes it’s just too dang hot to go all out. So here are a few tips for looking cool in the summer heat.

Linen neckties, such as our mustard yellow version, are one way to beat the heat while still maintaining a dapper edge since they’re lightweight and breezy and will nicely compliment a linen suit. We recommend Hockerty, the online clothier that lets you design your own suit at great prices.

A summer bow tie is another great option. Our Mint Stripe & Sun Paisley version is the sartorial equivalent of an ice cream cone or a day at the beach. Best of all this reversible bow tie is currently on sale.

Or Forgo the tie, but up your look with a French-cuff dress shirt in a light color and fabric, think linen or cotton in a fun pattern or just classic white (we recommend Haupt or Original Stitch), and let your cufflinks do your talking for you, like these Handcrafted Fleur de Lis Cufflinks from our friend (and amazing jewelry designer) Grayson Carroll.

Another option for a dashing look sans tie is a summer-weight blazer (we love Rowing Blazers and Jachs NY) set off by a boldly colored or patterned pocket square, such as our or

Coral and Blue Polka Dot Printed Linen Pocket Square.

Even at the height of summer you can still be the coolest fellow well met around and we can help.
